30 December 2023 Ride – Yarragon

It’s not only the last Saturday of December but also the last of 2023. As usual our start will be from Yarragon from the carpark at the rear of the shops. Depart at 8am.

Please keep off the roadway (sealed or unsealed) whenever we stop as apart from being safe it is also a courtesy to passing traffic. You’d be supposed as most complaints from motorist centre on this matter.

It’s still the Christmas Season so please come in your Christmas gear!

23 December 2023 Ride – Jindivick

Christmas Ride Jindivick

Three sleeps to Christmas but before this there will be a pre Christmas ride which Jude has suggested and organised to start tomorrow from the Jindivick Tennis Court carpark at 8:30am. Coffee and a catch up at the Barn Cafe after.

16 December 2023 Ride

Forecast to be a mild but windy day tomorrow. At least it will not be wet. It will be from Darnum departing at 8am. The Christmas Season is upon us and it would be appropriate to wear our Christmas gear for our Ride tomorrow.

Many thanks to Jo and Llydon for all the lovely food and preparation last night (Wednesday Ride Christmas breakup at the Trafalgar Bowling Club). A great introduction to bowling and fun night. Much appreciated by all of us. Also we are organising a Christmas ride. Saturday 23rd at Jindivick starting at 8.30 am for a ‘bow tie’ ride. Meet at tennis court. We’ve had a couple of warm to hot windy and humid days recently. The forecast for tomorrow however suggests this will not continue. Nevertheless it looks like the early part of the day hopefully will be dry enough for a ride.

Venue will be Darnum setting off at 8am. Come in your Christmas gear to herald in the Christmas season.

2023 is fast approaching it’s end. Twenty three sleeps before Christmas! Let’s slot in a few more ride before Christmas by starting tomorrow.

Ian will be away for the weekend and won’t be riding. Please ride safely as a group accommodating both analog and e-bikes. As a courtesy and for our safety please keep completely off the road whenever we stop.

We will start as we have been on the last Saturday of the month from Yarragon leaving at 8am. Rain is forecast but hope it will arrive later in the day but the temperature is forecast to be mild. Nevertheless please come prepared for damp weather.

A cool foggy start in the morning tomorrow but it promises to heat up during the day. Get ready to set off at 8am from Darnum.
