19 December 2015 Ride

It is the last Saturday ride before Christmas. No rain is forecast however it is predicted to be hot with high UV levels. This being the case and to avoid the heat of the the morning the ride is to start half an hour earlier at 7:30am.

Hot and mostly sunny. Slight (20%) chance of a shower about the inland ranges in the afternoon. Winds northwesterly 35 to 50 km/h tending northerly 25 to 35 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 16 and 23 with daytime temperatures reaching 34 to 40.

12 December 2015 Ride

Believe it or not it’s less than two weeks away from the big day – Christmas. Darnum is the venue for an 8am start. The weather will be touch and go but with a  half glass full attitude tomorrow morning’s ride will be ok weather wise.

For those wanting to know more about the weather tomorrow – It is slated to be cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers in the west, slight (20%) chance elsewhere. Winds west to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 4 and 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 19.

Christmas breakup ride 4 Dec 2015

Thanks to Kevin R our Christmas breakup ride has been organised and starts from Gypsy Creek Winery (not Brandy Creek Winery at 8am. There will be a steady paced 30km ride to Jindivick and back and a longer ride for those who want to ride further and faster.There will be platters of food and coffee / tea when we return. Cost $5 per head. All welcome.

Please not that Labertouche Road is closed because of bridge works so take Fishes Road detour to get to Gypsy Creek Winery.

As a plus Kevin advises that he has organised perfect weather for the morning.
