30 June 2018 Ride

It is not only the last Saturday of June but it heralds  the end of the financial year

Our ride will start from Yarragon departing st 8am being the last Saturday of the month.

Cloudy. The chance of fog in the early morning. High (80%) chance of showers near Wilsons Promontory, medium (60%) chance elsewhere. Snow falling above 900 metres. The chance of a thunderstorm near Wilsons Promontory in the late morning and afternoon. Possible hail near the coast in the late morning. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending west to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 6 with daytime temperatures reaching between 7 and 13.

Well we had more than a week of good albeit cool riding weather and winter has start to poke it head in with cooler weather. Ride tomorrow departing form Darnum at 8am.

There will be areas of morning fog. Mostly cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning. Snow possible above 1500 metres. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 9 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 16.

Ian will be away and is unable to ride with you.

2 Jun 2018 Ride

It’s the start of winter but the weather over the last couple of days has been reasonably mild. Apart from being frosty overnight tomorrow is slated for a dry day – good riding weather.

Please have your batteries charged and your lights on for the ride. Depart from Darnum at 8am.

The forecast for tomorrow is for areas of frost in the west in the early morning with patchy fog in the early morning. Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower. Light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 16.
