28 September 2019 Ride (AFL Grand Final)

We’re back on site after a slight glitch. Thanks Jason and Linda for getting the site up and running again.

We’ve had pretty good riding weather over the last week. Tomorrow is forecast to be cooler tomorrow morning but reasonable for a good ride.

Being the last Saturday of the month we will start our Grand Final Ride from Yarragon departing at 8am.

Forecast for a patchy fog in the west in the early morning. Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower near Wilsons Promontory. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light early in the morning then becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 3 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching between 11 and 16.

14 September 2019 Ride

Fluctuating cool and wet weather over the last week. Tomorrow is forecast to be foggy suggesting  good weather for the ride tomorrow morning. Depart at 8am from Darnum. Please have you’re batteries charged and light on for the ride.

Forecast for cloudy skies with patchy fog about the ranges in the early morning. Slight (30%) chance of a shower near Wilsons Promontory at night. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. Winds westerly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the early afternoon then becoming north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 3 and 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 19.

7 September 2019 Ride

Not a promising forecast for a ride tomorrow. Nevertheless from a positive perspective let’s see what will happen tomorrow by turning up to see what our options will be. Darnum it is departing at 8am.

It is forecast to be cloudy with very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely tomorrow morning. Snow falling above 900 metres. Possible hail. Winds west to southwesterly 35 to 50 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching between 7 and 13.
