Yep, the month of May is whizzing by and the last Saturday of the month is upon us. This means we start from Yarragpon departing at 8am.
Tomorrow promises a better morning for riding after the very wet and cold weather over the last couple of weeks. The forecast for tomorrow is for areas of morning frost about the ranges. Patchy morning fog. Sunny afternoon. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 4 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 19.
The long range forecast for Saturday is for a shower or two with temperatures between 6 and 13 deg. 60% change of rain however only 1mm rain is predicted.
Depart from Darnum at 8am. Please have your batteries charges and light on for the ride. By the way, IdB is away and is unable to join you on this ride.
Tomorrow might be partly cloudy with medium (50%) chance of showers about the ranges, with slight (20%) chance elsewhere. Snow possible above 1500 metres which shouldn’t worry us. Winds southerly 25 to 40 km/h decreasing to 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 10 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 16.
It would be chilly but with proper wet weather and warm gear on it should not be too bad for a ride. Depart at 8am from Darnum.
Let’s hope the forecast for a relatively mild weekend especially tomorrow morning will be correct.
Back to Darnum departing at 8am. Rug up in case the weather turns. Rear lights on please for your and our on road safety.
