28 May 2022 Ride

Cold wet miserable riding weather over the last week. Tomorrow, although forecast for rain, we might be in a pocket where hopefully it would be fine for our ride from Yarragon (last day of May). Think positively. Come prepared for a cool ride departing at 8am.

It is forecast to be partly cloudy tomorrow with high (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the early morning. The chance of morning fog in the west. Light winds becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 11 and 16.

Looking forward to a dry but cool day for our ride after a frosty night. Come prepared with batteries charged and both lights on for an 8am depart from Darnum.

It will be mostly sunny tomorrow with patches of morning frost and fog. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 13 and 17.

Sunday Ride 15 May 2022

Ride Mistress Jude advises the twice deferred 70’s ride form Jindivick is definitely on this Sunday. All welcome.

Although it will be a hilly 30km ride with a 450m elevation there will be ‘bow tie’ option for those wanting to shorten the course for an easier challenge. Coffee and the opportunity to ‘chew the fat’ at a nearby cafe after the ride.

Meet at the Jindivick Hall carpark (next to the tennis courts). Depart at 9am.

Sunday is predicted to be a dry morning but a little breezy.
