30 April 2016 Ride – Brandy Creek Winery

It’s the last Saturday of the month so we ride the Jindivick course starting from Brandy Creek Winery at 8am.

Hopefully the weather will be ok for our ride in the morning. The forecast is: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the east in the early morning. Slight (30%) chance of a shower. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 25.

23 April 2016 and ANZAC Day Rides

The weather for Saturday looks to be ideal for a ride. It promises to be partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching between 14 and 19. 8am departure from Darnum.

There will be a ride on ANZAC Day (Monday 25 April 2016) departing at 8am from the carpark next to the Drouin Bowling Club. The ride will be around 40km round trip to Labertouche and back. Drouin Gourmet Deli will be open so we’ll finish our ride with a catch up and coffee there.

It will also be another good riding weather morning. It is forecasted to be sunny with patchy fog in the morning and light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 10 with daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 24.

Please have your batteries charged and rear light on for all our rides.

 

16 April 2016 Ride

The weather Gods will be putting to an end to the run of good weather this weekend but hopefully it will be later in the day tomorrow. Even if it is a little damp in the morning there will be a ride from Darnum leaving at 8am. For you safety and as with all our rides please have your batteries charged and have them on during the ride.

Weather fGods have decreed: Cloudy. Areas of haze about the ranges in the morning. High (70%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm about the ranges in the afternoon and evening. Light winds becoming southerly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon then becoming light in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching between 16 and 20.

9 April Ride and the Baw Baw Classic dinner on 10 April 2016

Lets keep on riding and enjoying whats left of the good autumn weather. Darnum is the venue departing at 8am. Please have your lights on both front and rear and ride safely in your group.

The Baw Baw Classic is on on the next day – Sunday 10 April 2016. It should be a very interesting and exciting race. By the way, the Warragul Cycling Club has booked 20+ seats at New Masons Restaurant, Mason Street, Warragul for dinner after the race. Dinner is at 7pm so you will have time to spruce up before dinner. All welcome – riders, support crew, friends, family and non riders. All are welcome. Just turn up for a informal social riding dinner night.
