Half of January has arrived. Still start from Darnum departing at 8am. I;m still in new Zealand hoping to return on 20 January 2017 to catch up on a ride. I’ve been missing my rides.

The weather however is not looking good. Pit going to be a partly cloudy day with medium (50%) chance of showers in the southwest, slight (30%) chance elsewhere. Winds westerly 25 to 40 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 25.

7 January 2017

Our first Saturday ride for 2017. We are to start as usual from Darnum departing at 8am. I understand Kristen will be joining the group as a come back from her collarbone injury. Could you take particular care of Kristen as you would do anyone returning from injury during the ride.

Weather? I see it will be great as compared what it is in Auckland at the moment. Well the Bureau says that it will be sunny with light winds becoming northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching 31 to 36. Ideal.
