28 August 2021 Ride

Trust you are all well. Twenty two days into our 6th Covid lockdown and restrictions limiting us to ride within 5km from home. It would normally be a Yarragon-Westbury ride for us but for the lockdown. No point complaining. We just have to do our part in beating this insidious Delta strain.

This doesn’t mean we can’t ride but we have to do this in pairs within 5km from home. For your on road safety please ride with your lights on.

It will be partly cloudy tomorrow with p Patchy morning fog in the west. Areas of morning frost about the ranges. Light winds becoming northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 12 and 17.

The forecast for tomorrow promises to be ideal for a ride – a little cool with sight breeze. More importantly our 6th Covid lockdown has been lifted albeit with a few minor restrictions. This means we can resume our usual ride. Darnum it is where we are to set off at 8am.
