It the last Saturday of October so as with previous last Saturdays we will start from Yarragon at 8am. Meet at the car park rear of the shops. Choice of distances so choose your group that you are comfortable riding with.
We’ve had very changeable weather but the next few days promised to be much better. BOM predicts patches of light frost about the ranges in the early morning. Areas of fog in the early morning. Sunny day. Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 3 and 6 with daytime temperatures reaching 20 to 25.
We’ve had fickle weather over the last week with mild windless days to windy and wet weather. Tomorrow is slated to be wet however looking at it positively the morning might be reasonable for a ride. Rug up for a cool ride. Still departing from Darnum at 8am. Ian will be at the Gardenvalia Bonsai exhibition at the Drouin Library and will be unable to ride. Its open to the public so why not visit. Its an indoor exhibition.

The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and early evening. Possible hail. Winds west to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h tending south to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the middle of the day then tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. The site is up and running. Spring has decided ti return again with pleasant weather for tomorrow and for most of the weekend. Further to me earlier email to the crew i confirm the ride tomorrow is from Darnum departing at 8am.
The weather for tomorrow’s ride will be reasonable with a few showers but it will be a little windy. It’s still Darnum departing at 8am. There will be several riders riding for the first time in the Around the bay ride on Sunday. We wish them all the best and to have a safe and enjoyable ride. We look forward to hearing about their challenges and the good parts of their ride.
