31 october 2015 – Brandy Creek Winery

Well it’s the last Saturday of the month. This means that we start from Brandy Creek. 8am start. The weather promises to be a little dicky and i would say a little predictable for a ride in the morning.

Cloudy. High (70%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Rain and showers heavy at times in the afternoon and evening with local thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 24.

See you there

Riding conditions are getting better by the day. Tomorrow promises to be quite ideal. Darnum start at 8am.

Forecast for a partly, patchy foggy morning with winds north to northwesterly 15 to 20 kph. Day temperatures to 22deg. UV levels to be high after 9:20 am

17 October 2015 Ride

Our spring weather is still a bit variable with warm, cool and damp days. Tomorrow is forecast to be partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers about the ranges, slight (30%) chance elsewhere. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h before dawn then tending west to southwesterly in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching between 17 and 21.

Start from Darnum at 8am and returning for coffee after.

10 October 2015

The showers are predicted to arrive in the afternoon. This being the case a ride in the morning would bode well for us. UV levels will be high after 9:30am so slip slop and slap.

Start in Darnum at 8am.

3 October 2015 Ride

Ten riders rode 95 kms yesterday (Grand Final Holiday). The weather was perfect for a longer ride. Ian S (the Anchor Man) did a marvellous job dealing with the challenges of this ride especially after a self imposed three months absence from rinding.

Tomorrow promises to be another perfect riding day. Darnum starting at 8am. Those who want to ride a longer course start at 7:30am for a  ride to Westbury and back for coffee.

It is slated to be sunny. Winds northwesterly 10 to 20 km/h reaching 25 to 35 km/h in the far west and on the ranges. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 29. Another perfect day.

Grand Final Holiday Ride Friday 2 Oct 2015

The weather for Friday is slated for a perfect day for a ride. So to take advantage of this day a 60+km ride will start from Warragul (from Bike Centre) at 8:30am. The general consensus is to ride to Yarragon and back to Warragul for coffee should  Cafe Central or another other cafe is open tomorrow.

The forecast for tomorrow? Patchy fog in the early morning. Sunny day. Light winds becoming northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 26. Perfect.
