1 February 2020 Ride

Time has flown. It will be February tomorrow. It will be warm and may be a little damp for our ride but thankfully it will not be as hot as it is today. It’s been crazy hot!

Ride to depart from Darnum at 8am. Come prepared for a damp ride. Hopefully it will be a dry morning.

Saturday is forecast to be hot and humid. Partly cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm with gusty winds and possible hail. Heavy falls possible in the southwest. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h before dawn then tending northwest to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to the low to mid 20s with daytime temperatures reaching 29 to 39.

25 January 2020 Ride

Apologies for not posting last weeks ride. Time difference in Thailand slip by me.

Tomorrow’s ride will from Darnum departing at 8am. Forecast for a dry and cool morning, ideal for a pleasant ride. Please ride as a bunch looking out for each other. Ian will still be away but will return mid Sunday.

Patchy fog in the early morning. Partly cloudy. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to high 20s.

11 January 2020 Ride

After a slow start to summer it is definitely here. Large ongoing bush fires across the country are causing havoc with lives and mega property losses. We are lucky not to have this issue this year.

Ride from Darnum starting at 8am. Please ride as a cohesive group looking after each other..

Partly cloudy. Areas of smoke haze about the ranges. Winds westerly 20 to 30 km/h turning southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h during the morning then tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching between 17 and 22.

4 January 2010 Ride

Happy New Year! Trust you ushered in the new year with a blast. While it has been good around here the fires along the eastern board of Oz is not doing too well with  mega destruction and fatalities from bushfires.

Summer has certainly arrived with a vengeance with very hot weather. There will be be a ride from Darnum starting at 8am. Please ride cohesively in a group looking after each other. Ian is away so will not be joining you.

Saturday will be hot with a sunny morning. Areas of smoke haze about the ranges in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm with little or no rainfall about the ranges in the afternoon and evening. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h shifting west to southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h in the morning then becoming southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 28 to 38.
