13 February 2021 Ride – suspension

After weeks of no community transmission the more virulent B117 virus has forced the lockdown in an effort to arrest the spread. Heavy handed. May be but it would be worst for all if this virus spreads to the wider community. Five km travel distance restriction, so our ride will have to curtailed as almost all of us live more than five km from Darnum. Hopefully this restriction won’t be for too long.  As frustrating as it may be we will just have to wait and see.

More frustratingly the forecast is for a reasonable wether tomorrow. Predicted to be cloudy with medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and early afternoon. Winds westerly 15 to 20 km/h turning south to southwesterly during the morning and early afternoon then becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 10 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 23.
