25 February 2017 Ride – Yarragon

It is the last Saturday of February so as with our usual practice we will start from a Yarragon departing at 8am. The weather will be a little cooler than it has been the last day or so but reasonable for a ride. The course will be as it was the last a Yarragon pride ie ride to Old Sale Road in Shady Creek and return via Aralurn Road.

It will be cloudy with a slight (30%) chance of a shower. Light winds becoming easterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.

Several hot day recently. Tomorrow is forecast to be a  bit milder. Ride tomorrow staring from Darnum at 8am. Nilma Shady Creek Road is being reconstructed so it might be best to avoid this road for the time being. Suggest that we ride straight up to Shady creek on Darnum Shady Creek Road and those who want an shorter and may be an easier ride could ride back via Yarragon. Those wanting a longer and a more challenging ride could ride to Old Sale Road and return via Araluen Road.

Please be informed that the Bona Vista Road will be closed  because of bridge works as from Monday 13 February 2017 (scheduled completion 14 March 2017 weather permitting).
